Looking for a gaming computer?
I'd like a gaming computer for 2 or 3 games, but my budget is REALLY low; ~$400. I checked my system, and everything suggests it's time to upgrade my computer..I was thinking the Visionman BBI-1NG721 Barebone Computer for 300 dollars. Would it run games like Spore reasonably well? Is there an issue with it that stores have "overlooked" in their reviews? Do you have any past experience with it? Thanks for your information.
in 400 $ you can get a pretty good PC.
But that is definitely not for gaming. You see, there are 3 major factors for a Gaming pc: amount of memory(that pc is ok, has 2 GB), CPU(again decent), and Graphics CARD which is the most important aspec of all.( and that computer totally lacks one, it has an integrated one into the motherboard, but it is a very weak one)
The best thing to do is get a PC out of components(like the visionman is too, just custom components), and ask the company to assemble it for you.
I don't know the USA prices very well, so can't tell you what a good PC is in that budget, but you can ask on Hardware forums like tomshardware

you should really do it, as you seem not very knowledgable about computer hardware.
it's not about experience when you look at a pc, it's about the components. you definitely can get something much better than visionman.
