My Bamboo Pen and Touch tablet is having problems. How can I fix it?

I got it for my birthday (about 4 months ago), occasionally it would take awhile to pick up the pen singal and there would be a little bit of a stall between the pen and the mouse on the screen. Then one day, it just stops picking up the pen at all. I plug in my tablet and the LED lights up. I try using my touch feature and the mouse moves fine, but if I try to click with the touch feature or try to use any of the buttons nothing happens. No reactions at all. Then I tried using my pen and the orange LED lite up, so I tried to move the mouse around my computer screen and nothing happened. Which went hand in hand with the fact that none of the buttons on the pen were getting a reaction or me trying to click with the pen. So my tablet is pretty much just a cursor that doesn't even click. Can anyone help me fix it or would I be better off trying to get a new one because it hasn't even been a year yet?
