I am eyeing to buy a lenovo Y530 ,40516BU....Everything looks good but it says they have DVD Recordable?

It means it will write on double-sided DVDs that are DVD-/+ R (Write once / Read many) or DVD -/+ RW (ReWritable).

It will also write to single-sided DVDs and CDs (- and + formats)

And of course, it will READ DVDs and CDs.

The only thing it will not do is read/write on BlueRay !
