why is twilight so addictive?
i watched the film about 2 months ago, yet now i have nearly everything that has anything to do with twilight, am i over obsessive or have i got stuck in the twilight spider web ??
here are all the twilight things i own:

*sighs* something I can understand. I only got pulled out of it because my real life is so dramatic.
First, why is twilight so addictive?
It's a classic romance, only hidden behind a new twist. It's the tragedy of forbidden love. Most commonly found in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. You can see it in just about any highly passionate romance. Why is twilight in particular addictive? You are a modren teenage girl. Relatively average. You have a lot in common with Bella. So you relate to her. To see her wrapped up in a sudden romance makes you want it, and might make it you think it possible. So you dwell on the thought.
Now, How to get out of it?
I do suppose there is a certain level of misery involved in being a Twilight addict. The only way to stop obsessing over one thing is to find other things to obsess over. For me it was simply the drama in my everyday life. If you don't have drama, learn to make it. Find a passion. I'm passionate about God, and I'm passionate about helping others. Twilight was once a forefront in my mind... now it's in the clear back. It's simply a fascinating philosophy- but not an addiction.
