Desktop Background- Choose Desktop tab in the Display Properties dialog box

Screen Saver-preferred the screen Saver tab in the Display Properties dialog box

Desktop Icons- Selected Desktop tab in the Display Properties dialog box and choose Customize Desktop

Mouse Pointers- The pointers tab in the Mouse Properties from Start followed by Control Panel, Printers and Other Hardwares and permanently Mouse.

Colors and Fonts- Select Appearance tab in the Display Properties box.

Sound scheme- Preferred sound tab in the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties box from Start, followed by Control Panel, Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices and definitely Audio Devices.

4)Next choose Save As

5)Th theme has to be stored under the new theme in the Save As box and choose Save

6)Finish, by clicking OK.

It is extremely easy to customize the existing windows desktop themes and transform them into something mind-blowing and spectacular.

Parts needed for a custom built desktop?

For a custom built desktop, I know you must have basic essential parts to build it.

You got everything but the PSU.

Soundcard is optional, and depending on your motherboard you don't need a video card, though if you plan on gaming then you will need one.

The only compatibility issues you may have is with the motherboard, ram, and cpu. Check your motherboard specifications to make sure they support the ram (DDR2 or DDR3) and cpu (socket) you are buying.
